Minecraft Redstone Point to point system?

I would like to build a kind of screen in Minecraft on which one should be able to control a point with 4 pressure plates which, depending on the pressure plate, should go up, down, to the right or to the left. Unfortunately, I don't know how to do it… I can't find anything helpful on YouTube or on the Internet. Does anyone have an idea how I can do this or under which search terms I can find something on the Internet?

You can easily do this with so-called T-flip-flops and other logical components.
