Since I have no idea about PC configuration, but urgently need a new PC, I hope someone here can help me find a relatively good PC.
I have a maximum of 650 euro available.
The PC must have Windows 10 (64bit). I have a screen, a USB mouse and a keyboard. So it's all about the tower. I don't necessarily need a CD / DVD burner. But a DVD / CD drive would still be nice. And if the PC doesn't rattle anywhere or make other unnecessary noises, I would be happy again. 😏
Games like Minecraft (Java & Bedrock), Steam games like Command & Conquer Remastered Collection and the Anno / Siedler History Edition (from Ubisoft) have to run well on it. Browser games like Elvenar should work too…
The graphics card shouldn't be too old for updates after 1 year (like it was with this old junk box that I have to replace because it will soon go up in flames). 🤡
The PC has to last for at least the next 5 years, because as an EM retiree I need a little longer until I have enough budget for something new…
After a long search, I would actually recommend https://www.systemtreff.de/AMD-Office-PC-zusammenstellen-nach-individuellem-Wunsch to you.
For the price it just has to be an APU, a graphics card is not really included. I should have put the drive and burner in there already, as well as 16 GB of RAM. If not, you'd have to do it yourself, which isn't difficult either.
Of course there's a GraKa in there.
Yes, an APU. ^^
Is the Nvidia GEForce GT 1030 2GB a reasonably good graphics card?
If you consider that it costs around 100 euro and has 2 GB of video memory, no.
Better take the APU, or at least the 1650.
It is beyond my budget. 😬
So yes, then I prefer the APU
So if you are only interested in hardware, there would also be https://hardwarerat.de/...windows-10, which costs 30 euro more.
What do you think of that?
You can buy that too, if the drive is that important to you, yes.
But of course you have to cut corners, you can probably already play Minecraft on it, but that's it again.
Do you have another laptop to recommend that is perhaps cheaper than such a tower, but still good? As a temporary solution, that would be fine with me.
The main thing is that I'm not completely without a PC when the old one gives up his ghost, which will probably happen soon as he squeaks and gasps. I suspect the power supply doesn't really work anymore…
Maybe I'll just have the old box renovated a little? So just add a new graphics card (which one?) And a new power supply unit? The rest still works fine…

You would have to tell me about your mainboard and the rest of your hardware if I should recommend a graphics card, otherwise that would be pure guesswork.
Back then I bought a complete package (PC with screen, keyboard and mouse for around 400 euro) from CSL. Unfortunately I don't remember what it was called. At least it was something about sprinting.
Where can I find out what kind of mainboard I have?
Actually in the Task Manager.
No, the easiest way to find out the mainboard is with Hardware Info.
Nowhere is there anything from a mainboard. 🤔
Since I've always had very good experiences with Saturn products in the past, I would recommend this one to you.

Take a look at it. Maybe you like it.
Alternatively, it might also be interesting for you
Is it possible to bring the RAM to 16GB somewhere? Or is that not so important?
