Good armor mod for Minecraft?

I wanted to ask if someone knows good armor mods for Minecraft or weapon mods would also work (but net Tinkers construct but something else for the weapons) and it would be good if the mods would run on 1.7.10

rival rebels mod

mc heli

rüssi mods I can't think of anything except maybe Draconic evolution rüssis (have energy shields)

You forgot the MrCrayFish's Gun Mod, which doesn't have many weapons but is available for 1.12.2, clear, easy to find on Curse Forge and very user-friendly

But presents 98% useless mods without any use, otherwise they are of no interest.
