I have been trying to install mods on my gportal minecraft server for 2 days. I read something with ftp and Filezilla in a few forummen but I didn't understand it. In addition, the version always remains at 1.16.4 vanilla. I tested all mods in a single player.
I'm not sure, but I would advise against it.
Most mods these days still need core mods like forge… In addition, there are many that don't even come together because some items overwrite each other.
Instead, I would simply set up a modded server with a complete modpack right from the start. It's much easier than trying out compatibilities.
The mods are compatible with each other, I've already tried it. What I do not understand is how I get the mods on the server
Usually there's always a possibility to open a folder somewhere on the server side and upload Mod Zips.
Unfortunately, I don't know what that looks like at gportal.
It is also possible that this option does not even exist there.
