Hello and I would like to start with about 5 buddies a Minecraft Modpack server. The modpack is not fixed yet but it will definitely be a big one so Attack of the B Team or the Test Pack please Ignore from the Technic Launcher. Well, I've already tried several Minecraft server hoster but when it came to modpacks, no one could convince me at G-portal it was featured at Nitrado it was hailed at zap hosting, and so on. The problem has often been the CPU because you can't buy it in contrast to the RAM itself. Does anyone have an idea for alternative maybe a good root server? Thanks in advance. We're also willing to invest a little more money if the performance is right.
How much GB of RAM did you buy at nitrado?
How about netcup root server? I have been there for a very long time and very satisfied!

Super server performance, no laggs; With me on the server is running Modded Ark 2x, All the mods 3 Modpack (minecraft), etc
We played huge modpacks on Nitrado, Ozone 2, Infinity, Revelations, our own packs and more. Never had problems with laggs.
Of course, if you go to 6 slots and only pay 6 euro you can't expect any miracles. Modpacks need performance, which you do not get with Nitrado in the standard package. And even 2 or 3 gb Ram are simply not enough for such packs.
At Nitrado you have to get 6 slots and "Ultimate" for 5 people so it does not lodge. But for the money you also get root server with enough power for modpacks.
