I've always had a transition to sprinting, so the field of vision changes when you go from running to sprinting. I recently played a different version and since then it has not worked anymore, which means I can still sprint, but there's no transition. It's not very dramatic, but it still bothers me.
Go to Options -> Graphics Settings -> Set Field of View Effects (or something like that) higher.
If I remember correctly, the function is called "View Bobbing" (I don't know what that means in German.
You can find it under Options → Video Settings and then that should be done
