I built a track for my lorries. If I'm sitting in the lore, or running next to it, this also drives to the finish. If I want to leave the lore alone, it will only run as long as I can see it. If I move towards the lore, or watch it from the air, you continue to the destination.
Do I have to adjust something here?
You can try it with the renderdistance, but that happens with all entities that are too far away:-)
The problem is simple, that not always the whole world is loaded. That would be extremely performancelastig. That's why only the parts of the world in which a player is active are loaded. That's why it does not work if you're too far away.
There are a few plugins / mods with which you can keep the chunks charged. They work, as far as I know, not in the Vanilla MInecraft, so you'll need to download a version that is specially designed for these mods.
Thank you for your prompt reply. I can load plugins or mods. Do you know a mod with which I can implement that?
OK thanks.
For example: http://www.9minecraft.net/chickenchunks-mod/
I installed the module, also the dependent mods. Then my server does not start anymore. Does the mod have to be installed on client and server?
This is only installed on the server.
