I play with my friends the development version 19w05a of Minecraft. The server used to run on my gaming PC via Hamachi. Now I have set up a new PC, so that the server for my friends is always available.
Well… That was theoretically the idea. Unfortunately, my friends can't reach this server. I also can't reach him via the Hamachi IP. I can reach the server only over the IP of the computer (thus 192.168.x.x).
Does anyone know a solution to this problem, or does an alternative to Hamachi know?
Or. Is it possible to give the server a "static IP" via the service provider "no IP"?
Most likely you have to unlock the port in the router
But on my gaming PC, which is on the same network, it works too. So why not on the other PC?
Does the new PC have a firewall? And if it's just the windoof scrap?
Then you might have to allow access.
I explicitly allowed Hamachi again. And Java also allows all accesses: /
No, you do not have to go to Hamachi.
