Does one at Minecraft know how Fastbridgen works?

It may sound weird but I've been playing Minecraft for a long time, but I just do not know how to do it at bedwars z.b fastbridges. Do you have to spam SHIFT all the time or how?!

Normally you sneak through constantly. When fast bridging, let go of Shift to cross the block and press it again shortly before dropping down to set the next block. You cross the block you just set without sneaking and so on.

Put it on the edge of the block and quickly spam on the shift button, placing blocks.
