Most successful video game (2021)?

Which video game is currently (May 2021) the most successful?

And the best thing would of course be the sales figures.

I think the most successful is either Fortnite or Minecraft.

But I don't know for sure!

The top selling game is Minecraft with over 200,000,000 sales

Yesterday it was still on Wikipedia that Tetris is the best-selling game with around 495 million units sold.

Neither one nor the other is most successful.

Tetris continues to be by far the most successful computer game in history and has sold almost 500 million units on over 65 platforms since 1984.

The Nintendo Gameboy in particular has made Tetris extremely popular and widespread. In the beginning there was the game "Tetris" for every Gameboy bought. This made the game the most successful Gameboy game with 35 million units sold.

Minecraft is actually in second place, yet with less than half in sales (200 million).

3rd place is GTA V and 4th place Wii Sports.

With Wii Sports you have the same principle as with the Gameboy and Tetris: just added it to the console.

Fortnite has so far, according to Wikipedia, not even made 15 million sales and is therefore not to be found in the following list:

Fortnite ranks second among the games with the highest number of registered players (350 million).
This also includes multi-accounts and inactive or never used accounts.

Really? As far as I know, Minecraft has overtaken Tetris. At least that's what the internet says. But well, a couple of pages also say that CSGO was the top-selling game

I think Tetris is only number 1 if all versions are added together. Some statistics don't, so Minecraft slips to number 1.
