Have now after a long time again set up a Minecraft server at McHost24. Had taken the first with 1gb Ram, however, had to realize that this jerky enormous and usually at least 2-3 gb Ram needs (there's a teleport plugin on the server and there are max 2-4 players online). I've had a server there before and this one has never consumed more than a gb ram even for 6-10 people. Can someone explain that?
Did he install the same plugin? Not that causes a memory leak?
Yes, it should be the same. I also noticed that he always hangs extremely hard despite 3 gb Ram.
What version do you play and do you use spigot or bukkit? And what does the other server use?
Have spigot and bukkit tried 1.12.2 the other was just as set up
Actually wanted to write a comment
Is he hosted elsewhere?
No, own hoster
Change provider;) There are better and cheaper, which also help you individually with such things. I'm happy to give you a few here.
If the old server had exactly the same plugins, then please just contact the support.
So something must be different, sundress would not give it the problems. Ask the owner for a pluginlist
I'm the owner.
I've already
Guess I'll go back to Host Unlimited which costs half
From the other server
Also
Hm. If it is possible, you can do a 1: 1 copy of the good server to the problem server
and if the problem persists, I would contact mchost support
The server is running better again
Whenever I do a reboot from time to time he does not need much RAM
Was that before copying or after?
Have not copied anything because I do not have the old server data anymore
Hm, ok so it seems to have fixed by itself. Can you contact me, if it occurs again
