I have a WinRoot the other day and currently have my + Minecraft (vanilla, NO MODs!) Server + Teamspeak server installed.
My Teamspeak is great, no problems! Ping normal etc.
My real problem child is the Minecraft server.
We're currently max. 5 players on the server and constantly I get the following error in the Minecraft console:
[18:49:13 WARN]: Can't keep up! Is the server overloaded? Running 15465ms or 309 ticks behind
The root is actually a pretty stable box! Here's the data:
CPU: Intel Xeon X5670 Hyper-Threaded
RAM: 16GB
WinServer 2016
1GB network connection
SSD hard drive 500GB
--------------------------------------
I have already pushed the RAM up, I've screwed it down again… Say once with 2GB RAM run, then again with 8GB of RAM.
The server (Minecraft and Windows) I have already reinstalled, I have Java updated. The server has all the updates he needs etc…
The CPU utilization is max. At 35% and only if someone logs on to the server.
I'm relatively helpless and google also brings me no results. Everywhere one reads only that it is "normal"… But we feel in the game the basis of double blocks or really very short laggs.
Does anyone have an idea how to get that maybe even without mods?
The Minecraft version from 1.13 is not stable. Habs had himself. Try 1.12.2 and the error should be gone because the 1.12.2 much more stable and the server should no longer rummeckern. It worked for me.
