How do I change my bed breakdown sound?

I have a sound in an .ogg file that I would like to use as a bed dismantling sound. So I just want to change the bed breakdown sound of a different texturepack. The TP still has the standard sound.

If I'm not mistaken, I have to be in the TP

create the path minecraft → sounds → mob and then the folder "wither" and then put the sound with the name "wither.ogg" in there, right? It didn't work for me.

According to google, you need a meta file that selects the sounds if you have several bed dismantling sounds. I don't actually have anyone else.

Can anyone help me further?

In the Minecraft / assets / indexes folder there are a couple of Json files for the different versions. Open the file for your version (1.16) and search for "bed", you will find the name of the file, e.g. "minecraft / sounds / ambient / nether / nether_wastes / addition5.ogg". You then have to use this exact path in your texture pack.

That's 2900 lines of code… Great to search through haha.

And I didn't find it. I'm playing in 18th so I looked in the file.

Okay, I did it differently. Simply open the file in sound → mob → wither → death.ogg
