I have a problem with minecraft, namely that minecraft does not select the right graphics card, so shaders do not work for me either. But in order to be able to assign the correct graphics card, I have to know the exact name of my graphics card, but the device manager and dxdiag only say "AMD Radeon (TM) Graphics" and that is only the specification of the "family" of my graphics card belongs.
So maybe someone please know how to find out the exact graphics card name?
Do you have an APU or dedicated graphics card?
Is that an Igpu?
Start "dxdiag", wait until it loads, then go to the second tab (display) and at the top should be the name of your graphics card / graphics unit with further information below.
Is it onboard? ^^
Yes, but as I said, it only says "AMD Radeon (TM) Graphics"
Yes
Then you only have one haha Minecraft will choose the right one.
APU
Yes I think so
Yes but then why don't shaders go? I mean, my graphics card is actually not bad xD
Yes it is.
Bad?
Yes onboard is dirty
I also have a laptop because I think there's nothing else xD
Uh?
Do you have a laptop
Yes
Send me the laptop
Normally the correct graphics card is automatically selected for laptops.
If this is not the case, I think it can be changed in the performance settings.
Unfortunately, I don't know exactly where by heart
Have a HUAWEI Matebook 14 2020 with an AMD Ryzen 5 processor
This is a pure business laptop. You can hardly gamble with it at all. Something like Minecraft works, but not current games.
