I have a PC on which a Minecraft server is running.
Is that bad if it runs 24/7 and if so what would the consequences be?
The hardware:
CPU: i7 9700k
CPU cooler: Be Quiet Dark Rock 4 Pro (temperatures always below 50C °
GPU: Nvidia Quadro P2000
Power supply: 550W Be Quiet
Mainboard: Z390 Tuf Gaming
Storage: SSD: Samsung 970 Evo 500gb
Housing: Be Quiet Dark Base 700 (good airflow)
The hardware is good, the PC shouldn't really care.
These are high-quality components… First and foremost, there's creeping movement everywhere.
And if you use reasonably decent fans (not just ordered on Aliexpress), 24/7 operation is no problem at first.
