Minecraft villager breeder does not work on a server?

I play on a small server and have built a villager breeder. I've just built the tutorial of pixlriffs. (Here the link)

It does not work.

I gave each of my three villagers in the lower part 1-2 stacks of carrots and traded at 2, but it does not itch.

Presumably your doors are just misplaced or have no sunlight. I could certainly find the mistake quickly.
