But that's not very old. Since I know servers that are on lower versions.
Alpha 1.0.17_02 is the oldest version you will find. But is very buggy, e.g. You can't beat mobs, so I recommend Alpha 1.2.6. Everything is going smoothly.

The oldest version is Alpha 0.1.0. The associated client is 1.0.15

There are only clients. The questioner specifically asks for SERVER software.
Of course there's no preview for an exe. Just click on "Download".

Aha I just noticed that this button only appears after 5 seconds!
For me it appears after half a second. And my PC is already 9 years old. A laptop really can't be that slow.
