Is it possible to increase the maximum number of letters in a name in a server? I ask because I have set prefixes in my permission file and that is not permitted with a long name (e.g. 15 letters) and an error message comes up:

No. As far as I know, it's clientside.
The prefix is only a problem if it is used in a ScoreBoard.
Take another prefix plugin.
You should be able to set the prefixes in the ScoreBoard separately from the prefixes in the chat

I have my own and therefore do not need the download versions of it or I don't even know them.
