I have rented a V-server to create a Minecraft server, website us.w… Everything went well.
Now I want to give other people on it access, but this is very complicated with FileZilla…
Does anyone know how to restrict access to folders?
For example, with sudo that a user can act only in a folder and nothing else can do on the V-server? (To lock up there, so to speak)
We use an SFTP with Debian 8 (V-Server halt)
All we need for a Minecraft server for a "Developer"
So you want to restrict the FTP access? Then you can just create a new user who has set the home folder differently, then you can simply set the user to e.g. Developer can only act in the folder / var / www / html / dev /.
