My friends and I want to set up a private Minecraft server at 5 in which we set hardcore and make whoever survives last. So, a simple server that runs 24/7 (sometimes there are servers that only run sometimes, that's cheaper) for 5 people without big modpacks or something should cost around 5-10 euro a month. It can of course be a little more if you want special equipment.
