In view of the current situation, I wanted to play minecraft with a few friends, together on my own server. Now we do not plan to spend 4 euro for a maximum of one week of play if it turns out that we want to play something else. Many providers already offer servers with 1GB RAM as standard.
Now I've been out of it for years, so I don't know: How well do 1GB work for 2, maybe 3 players? The map should not be particularly large, so there are no major requirements. About my PC would be difficult, since it only has 8GB and I allocate 7GB of it to the game itself to maintain the performance.
What about the requirements for a little game? What is necessary to be able to play smoothly and without errors?

Write to me at times, I have set up a server that is currently unused (Vanilla Minecraft), so you are welcome to test it out.
Minecraft needs about 1GB for the server and ideally again about 500MB per player on ram, so that everything runs smoothly. You can do less, but sometimes there are smaller lags.
