I'm currently playing with two friends on a Minecraft server. Up until a few days ago we had a server at Nitrado, which ran well and completely without any lag with one of my friends while there were big problems with me and the other friend. That's why we switched to Mine-Hoster, now things are going very well for me and the friend with whom it was also lying, while it is now very strong for the friend who previously had no lags. For information: I and the friend with whom it was lying or not at the same time have a Telekom router and the other friend is at UnityMedia. How can you solve the problem? Ps: Both servers are equipped with good RAM upgrades etc. And with well-rated hosts. In addition, when it was with us it was only in Minecraft bad in the browser, etc., the speed was as good as always.
would be very happy about problem solving folks 😀
The laggs always result from the response times of the server and have to do with the distance from the client to the server… (ping)
it would be easiest if each of you tried to ping the server once…
open "CMD.exe", "ping + IP your server: port your server" and then read the times that are shown there…
These should never be over 100, otherwise there will be known lags…
do you all live in the same city and / or in the same country or is there one who lives, for example, in America and plays from there?
uses your VPN to get on the Internet - if yes → switch off…
what else can I think of?
write me a few answers first, then we'll see…
Okay thanks we will do that afterwards
