(Sub) domain or DDNS on device?

I have been busy for months now and again as I can network several devices at home to the outside well.

So for example. I have

1 storage server
1 media server
1Testserver for small projects
1 small server for Ts3, musicbots, website, forum etc
1+ large servers with virtualization (with several as clusters) with multiple VM's
1 server for Windows network installation (up to 5 users)

Of course we assume:

I have a 1Gbit / s or 10Gbit / s internet connection
have a good home network (with at least 10Gbit / s internal network)
I'm aware of the power consumption
I also have the knowledge
have security arrangements for the servers and also the current
I already have a fixed IP and fiber (and of course DSL so telecom)

So now to the actual:

I would like to reach some of the servers also from the outside without big problems

I have already found some ways:

A company rents IP's and IP networks then via an SD card in a Rasperry pi or on the Rasperry Pi running '(with web interface to set up)

However, it is then limited to 20mbit / s by the rasperry, which is not enough for my things.

It does not have to be 10Gbit / s connection but 1Gbit / s or at least 500mbit / s would be great

The other things were just as pointless or I have found no prices and the question remains whether I get as a private user. Pricing is not so important but it should not be a monthly 1000 euro, I would like to have IP's (at least 5-10)

However, the question arises how can I assign these without problems the devices (best possible without extra software on the device itself)

Have you heard about a vserver at a provider ip's book and take this as vpn and the Ip's routen (the router at home directly connect to the server) and then the ips on the devices routes…

dyndns or noip

How does it work?

The basic problem I have is:

I would like to have several Modserver for Minecraft as well as Bungeecords etc and would like to do without the ports to change.

So that I can, for example, with domain / subdomain or dns or so on the server without the port behind it to enter as well as the same gimmicks on Ts3 servers or even with the VM's on my big server.

domain's

Can I do with a domain or domain in connection with dns / dyndns or so the whole? I subdomain as vm1.domain.de / ts3.domain.de or just with domains in this form domain.de/storage domain.de/forum or so solve the whole?

I apologize and thank you in advance for anyone who takes the time to read this even if he can't help.

Lo

There are free DynDNS providers, but you have to run a small script on your server that requests the server every x minutes and tells it the current IP. This will then be linked to an address (subdomain of one of several domains available for selection). For example, https://freedns.afraid.org/

Me

Okay, I can link my own domain with dyndns? Definitely? In the end I can use then several dyndns around on different system different ts3 servers eg. To run and still all with standardport 9987? Right?

Lo

Of course, if you have your own, you can do that too.

If all servers are on the same local network, they are on the same router and can only forward a port to one device, even if the three are linked to different domains.

St

This is also the router, if you z. B. Dyndns enters into it… You have only one IP anyway, so you need only one connection to dyn…

Lo

If the router can do that. Mine, for example, can only ping certain DynDNS services, but I do not link them.

St

I have 6 Ark servers at home, they can all be found on the Steam list.

I could also host 20 MC servers on this hardware, but MC is not what interests me…

This server, as well as all my other devices that I want to reach externally, hang on a router…

In it I have umpteen port release all services allow to be reached from the outside…

By means of dyn.com I have a hostname on which my router passes the IP - so all my devices can be reached under this DNS…

That's how you imagine it, I think… So it's not rocket science and it just works…

But if you consider that the server runs continuously with 200 W, then the electricity is additional costs of about 55 Euro per month…

For these 55 euro you could also get a dedicated server that has the problems with fixed IP's and speed in the network, all not…

St

Most routers can reach dyn, if you want, I direct you a free host name with you in the routers… Test way… Well, routermodell would still be helpful

Lo

Yes, but dyn.com is only one supplier among many and some want to use another.

Me

Yes, that's logical, but that does not matter anyway.

So the question is still, an Ark server has a port if you leave the standard port you need not add it as in teamspeak in the game or in ts3 at a ts or minecraft, you can omit it, you can your 6 Ark use server with standardport? Or could I or you do that? With multiple dns or domains or something

St

My Ark servers all run on different ports, but it's just Ark and not Minecraft… There's a built-in server list and not at Minecraft…
