Curse of disappearance despite keep inventory?

I got a bow in Minecraft with "Curse the Disappearance" today, but on the server "Keep Inventory on" says, you do not lose your stuff when you die.

But what about the enchantment, does it still apply or do I keep it?

If the server does not prevent it with plugins, it disappears despite gamerule.

The enchantment with the melodious name "Curse of Vanishing" goes beyond the gamerule "keepingInventory".

Disappear anyway if you die.
