I have a Discord server and my community wanted me to open a Minecraft server. The stupid thing is I don't want to spend any money on it. I have already looked at many pages and then I noticed that the IP address is e.g. At aternso meinserver.aternos.me and I think that's stupid is there any way to host a free 24/7 online minecraft server with your own ip?
Unfortunately there's no provider who gives you a server for free, because an MC server uses a lot of RAM and RAM is expensive. But I'm quite happy with mine hosters, where the servers are pretty cheap.
But it hardly makes sense to look for a free provider because the servers are actually only lagging there.
It's "free" with a Raspberry Pi
You just pay the electricity bills
Nobody will give you a server for free
Free
Is online 24/7
Has lots of slots for lots of people
A lot of ram for good performance didn't crash anything
Has its own IP
At mc-host24 the servers are relatively cheap ^^
Ploudos?
It's not up to Ploudos
If you feel like it, you can use my event.
A large shared community is much nicer.
The boys and girls are currently in a low phase and there's virtually no going on.
This is a survival with no additional mods.
Only the bare essentials for administration.
It is hosted on a dedicated server.
If you are interested, get in touch, we can talk about anything.
Ploudos?
But it's also not your own IP…
I just made a server there…
As I said:
No own IP (Plouod.me)
And:
Not online 24/7 (if nobody is online)
1GB Ram is not that good for a large number of gamers in my experience
Doesn't even have 1.8.8 paper
You should have written Pi4, because it won't work on a Pi3 … And the Pi4 has to be cooled, otherwise it will evaporate…
Due to the resulting electricity costs, a rented V-Server is cheaper again…
(24/7 server is enough for 75 players)
Can i also join?
