I recently had such bad laggs on the GommeHD server. The other players don't think they have laggs. I even have a good 100ping. And Minecraft is the only Internet pulling program.
A more acceptable ping would be around 40-45.

A game will never run perfectly. Especially Minecraft because it's so poorly optimized. Occasionally laggs are normal on servers. If the game runs smoothly in single player, everything is fine.
