Minecraft 1.8 colored error message?

I wanted to get Hypixel, and that's where it came:

My question now is not how to fix this, but how to make a colored error message on my server? Do I have to go to spigot.yml? You can't make the error message in color, can you?

So this error message is probably made by a plugin, as far as I can tell.

You can't just "change" error messages.

Do you have a server If it runs on spigot, then you have to go to spigot.yml and there they are. You can't change the error message like in the picture, but there are still a few things that can be done without plugins.

What do you suspect which plugin this is?

The message probably comes from the AntiVPN plugin what you are using to block VPNs. Normal color codes such as e.g. §2 (green) used or §c (bright red)
