Minecraft endermans don't get mad at endermites?

I opened a Minecraft Vanilla server with friends in 1.16.5 and we built an Enderman farm but the Endermans don't get angry with the endermites. Has anyone ever had the problem? We have already gone single-player and have spawned the Endermans and Endermites next to each other, but they didn't fight each other there either. We already went to older Minecraft versions, but it didn't work there either.
Is there something wrong with our Minecraft? Because with all YT Toutorials things go flawlessly and nobody has the same problem as me. Do you have any suspicions what it could be?

That only works if you let them spawn with Ender pearls yourself, as far as I know.
