We have a Minecraft server that is currently growing well and we want to introduce that if you want you can spend money on ingame money.
e.g. 10 euro for 10,000 ingame money
We would put the money we would get in advertising.
We keep the rest for other things.
But what does the whole thing look like legally?
That is forbidden. You have to read the Minecraft Eula carefully!
You can't sell things that give a player an edge. Respectively, these things must be achievable without real money.
So it would be okay if you offer ingame money. But you can e.g. Don't sell fly rights for just one player. If you need a fly booster that applies to the entire lobby.
Here is the EULA again where these things are not exactly in there, but I have often noticed that these rules apply.
So for me it means that I can't sell in-game money for real money.
If you can only get this ingame money with real money, it is forbidden. I explained everything above.
In my answer, I assumed that you can get the ingame money without real money, if that is the case, you can also offer ingame money for real money.
You get the ingame money normally by working on the server. So if you go by train or something, because you can do jobs and stuff. But you can only buy ingame money with money, but it is not a must. (The same money that you get through work
Okay good, then it is allowed with real money.
I wish you a lot of fun and good income with your server.
OK
