Minecraft Java Mods? - 1

I would like to get "Minecraft Java" and have a question… Are there any dangerous mods there? Or are they all safe? + Are there mods for downloading skins?
E.g. In "Sims 4" some mods are viruses.

First of all: Yes, there are also mods that are unsafe. So always be careful. The biggest mods are safe, however.

Second, skins are not mods, they are skins. Mods = modifications. These expand your gaming experience and bring new things to the game. A skin does not do this, however. If you have a skin, you don't have new things in the game like a new weapon, just a different look!
