Hello we're a minecraft server and want to make a new mode and we need our own textures as weapon textures because there are weapons in minecraft but not yet they will be replaced with an item that is available in minecraft
So hold an item that is available in minecraft only with a different texture. Does anyone know where you can create them or whether there's a template for weapons in minecraft. I have photoshop and the programs you need to design.

Do you mean that the people who join your server will be suggested a texture pack, which they can then download and thus see e.g. A pistol or similar instead of a bow?

Yes exactly
You can download resource packs anywhere on the Internet. Then you take one. (If you want a default pack, you can too.) You unzip this with 7zip or similar programs. Then go to the textures folder and then the Items folder. There you can then look at the textures of the individual items and then open them with paint.net or Photoshop and edit the images as you want.
Second method:
You open a new picture and set it to 512x512; 256x256; 128x128 etc pixels. Then you save it in the texture pack folder under the same name as the item that should have this texture and thus overwrite the image.

So the question would be whether you really want to put so much effort into the textures 🤷♂️
