I would like to know where you can safely download pvp texture packs, because where I tried I only found websites where it looked like I was about to download a virus… Can anyone suggest trustworthy sites?
Take some from YouTube. Simply some from well-known Youtubers with many subscribers… Eg bastighg

Unfortunately all Minecraft mod / texture pack pages look like virus pages. But I can recommend 9minecraft and Cursedorge to you, although I think 9minecraft is better. I've been downloading my mods and texturepacks there for years.

Sphax. I find the site to be the most serious. But is not a pvp pack. Then I recommend checking out the Reddit forums. Some are put in directly with the download link and if there's something wrong with them, someone else will warn you beforehand.
