Hi, I wanted to make a texture pack in Minecraft with Gimp, but when I open that, I don't know how to set it up so that I have as many pixels as I have entered (i.e. In new and then I can Enter the desired size in pixels!)

can you tell me what I have to set up to create a texture pack?

I used to use paint to edit textures. It is best to activate the "grid" there, so you can hit pixels more easily.

In order to create a texture package, it is advisable to copy the standard textures folder and to modify all textures.

I'll attach a tutorial that might help.

'Thanks, I saw the video too, I did exactly the same as him, but it was different for me!

HM okay.

I used to download a texture pack and then edit the files. So you have to edit the image files and overwrite them in the same directory (save under the same name), so the texture change takes place.

GIMP is not that good for this, I would recommend Paint for beginners - there's the grid mentioned above.

Have you already looked in here:

Maybe it will help: -D
