What should I do if Java does not load a texture package?

You have to unzip the zip. There shouldn't be a mistake.

There's a folder in the zip file. This is where the actual Resource Pack is located.

That means you have to unzip the ZIP file and drag the folder you get from it into the resourcepacks folder.

With some texturepacks you have to do this if they are wrongly packed. Texture packs also work as normal folders.

There are also texture packs which e.g. Only run on 1.14 etc.
