Phishing sites where the victim has to enter the data. This can be a page that promises something or a copy of an original page. To make it look even more real, you can register a domain that contains, for example, a character in another language that looks like another character. For example, you can replace the p with the Russian r in paypal.com (they look very similar).

Comparison of data from other hacks - for example, if a forum is cracked, an attacker can steal thousands of passwords and matching email addresses. Then he only has to check whether they fit PayPal, eBay, Minecraft, …

Stealing saved passwords with Trojans - these either use keyloggers or tap the passwords directly from the browser.
