Great keyboard comparison?

Moin Leudeee,

I have asked a lot of questions lately (really many, one was deleted because of spam xD) and have put together many suggestions and also researched otherwise. I also created a list and sorted it out earlier. The problem, there are 8 keyboards left and I can't decide which of these 8 to use.

So I would have to ask you (please question team, that would be the last question) which of these eight you would take.

Here is the list: https://geizhals.eu/?cat=WL-1673466

I would use the keyboard for Minecraft PvP (Soup if you know it), Open World Games (e.g. Forza Horizon 4) and Shooter (currently Hyper Scape).

I would also like to have good RGB lighting that can also be controlled by software.

Mechanical switches are just as important to me because I already use them and would like to continue using them.

And yes, I'm aware that the prices vary, but I wanted to leave everything open. You can also suggest other keyboards (with reasons why the decision), but please do not say: "None of them" and then do not continue.

Thanks for reading this long question, but I want to finally close the topic.

th

I would take the HyperX.

It is made of very high quality, you can see that when you compare the weight, has Cherry MX Red Switches and is the cheapest.

I also have a HyperX (different model) myself and am very satisfied.

Un

Weight does not mean quality, otherwise China dealers would simply pack stones in xD. But thanks, made the decision easier. Can I put https://candykeys.com/product/tai-hao-starry-night-keycap-set-iso-de on it and you would still see some RGB?

th

Yes, of course, but I know that from my keyboard, that is high-quality stable metal, not plastic. The Chinese keyboards are mostly made of thin plastic and weigh little.

I can't help you with the keycaps.

Pi

I have the Hyperx Alloy Elite myself and I'm very satisfied. The metal feels very high quality, the lighting is really bright enough and I use this volume wheel 15 times a day.

pr

Why isn't the Corsair K95 RGB with Silver Speed Switches in there?

That is the non plus ultra

Gh

I can recommend the Drevo Blademaster TE (great value for money). I wouldn't take any of the ones shown! Are all somehow too expensive and with keyboards it is somehow not worth it because they can all do the same thing. The differences are minimal and I would never shoot out so much money for a keyboard!

Un

How is the RGB control on the Drevo?

Un

Because I tested the speeds in the shop and didn't like them.

Gh

Best watch this video:

Otherwise there are 9 different color modes and each led has its own RGB lighting (16.8 million colors) And then you can costumize everything, e.g.: that each LED has the color you want and then it has a side RGB lighting looks violent too!

Gh

Has no numpad but I don't think you need it and the mouse also has a lot more space which always bothered me with a numpad!

pr

Of course there are also reds and browns

Un

But what is the difference to a K70 mk.2? Except that the k95 is 30 euro more expensive?

And I can't find any K95 with red switches, just Silver and Brown

pr

I don't have all of them in mind now, one or two years ago the K95 was just top of the line. Does the K70 also have macro buttons and a volume wheel etc?

Un

Volumerad yes, macros no. But currently don't use them either, so I don't care

pr

Personally, I find them very useful, but everyone as they please.

But also have a Roccat horde Aimo.

When gaming, the RGB stuff goes quickly on the sack, at least it was like this…

Un

Are you satisfied with Roccat? Already have a Roccat Kone Aimo, but the keyboards shouldn't be of the best quality.

And on the subject of RGB, I already have it and it doesn't bother me, it rather helps because I can then recognize the buttons in the dark

pr

So I'm satisfied, the buttons and switches are rubber domes, but absolutely fine for gaming and also for typing a bit.

Of course, of course, I also use RGB lighting, but I don't use animations or rainbow effects because that irritates me in the game. A basic lighting of the keys is always not bad.

Before the Roccat Horde Aimo I had an Isku from Roccat, which I found very good, especially for the price. I'm generally a fan of macro keys, Roccat always claps a lot… My mouse, for example, also has a total of 15 macro keys and I use all of them.
