I just opened a Minecraft world, which I've been playing for many years, for the first time at Minecraft 1.15. As before, as soon as a new version was released, I was warned more often that my world could be damaged, so I made a copy to be on the safe side.
However, it is now the first time that my world has actually been damaged: some chunks seem to have completely disappeared and the others have moved seamlessly into one another.
Of course, the world is saved thanks to the copy, but so far I have not found a solution that I can use in the latest version undamaged. Whenever I drag the copy to the appropriate folder and then launch it in the game, it will be damaged again. Is there a way to avoid this? Or do I have to play for older versions now?
The world is not compatible with the version. If you go with a new version and reload chunks, the world tries to create the chunks with the features of the new Mc version
