Script file on Minecraft server?

I have a small Minecraft server and wrote a script. I have been searching for several hours for a plugin that allows script files on a MC server. In the whole Internet I found only 2 videos describing this. The plugin "script" was mentioned there. The page of the plugin looks to 100% different than on the videos and is totally confusing. The server is running at 1.12 and the version of script (also specified as 1.12) does not work.

Does not anyone in the world know another plugin, or has no one ever asked why that does not work?

I did that several times. If I load that on my Bukkit 1.12 server, it will always be displayed red in / pl and will not work.

Bukkit is outdated, Spigot should be taken better because of new features, speed, bug fixes, better plugin support, etc. And Paper is based on Spigot and is again a little better performing
