I want to play Minecraft with mods on a server with a friend but the server is loading a vanilla map although buildings and other mod content should be loaded there but this content is not loaded but it is a normal world on which the mods i have no influence I use winscp for ftp access
Is the name of the world in the folder as it was configured in the properties file?
Where can I find this?
So where can I find the world name in the properties
In the properties, a line should look like this:
level-name = …
That behind the equal sign is the world name… What does it say to you?
World
Create the world in single player and then upload it to the server
Okay so then there should be a subfolder in the main folder with the name "world" yes?
Then stop the server
Delete the folder "world" in the main folder
Upload the new world (folder no ZIP etc)
Rename the uploaded folder to "world"
Start the server
Now the new world should be loaded, provided there's a modserver and all mods are installed!
I've already tried it, it still loads a normal world so it loads the map but without the mod stuff
Can you give me the output log? So the last log when you start the server?
the folder is also renamed correctly?
Are the structures in the world at a certain coordinate where you have to go first?
No there are also fruits on trees and sticks and so they are generated net
As I said the world is loaded but not with the content of the mods
Is the Modserver installed correctly? This is not a vanilla server? Does that go through Forge?
What instructions did you use to install the whole thing?
It runs over forge
Yes, the mod content is not loaded there for any reason
