How do I transfer an MCPE world stored in the application?

Minecraft on my new phone (Android) have the location on "application" are, and have built a world that I would like to save on the SD card. If I change the location to "External", the old worlds are not transferred, but only the worlds I create after switching to "External" on the SD card / stored on the device. Is there a way to transfer the worlds from the application to external, or copy the buildings and paste them into a world on the SD card?

You need another app for that, I use ES File Explorer

First search for "minecraftworlds".

And then open the order and just copy the worlds.

To copy just hold down and then copy. You probably can't run the world on the SD card, but you can save it there or you push in the settings under the point Apps Minecraft on the SD card.

Thank you in advance for your answer, but in the File Explorer, I only see the worlds that are stored "Externally". But I want to move a world that is stored in the application to "external" or copy.

I'm sorry I can't help you. With me, all worlds would always be displayed. Maybe the wrong folder? I also had 2 folders in the search.

I have good news for you. Problem solved in the last attempt. Is easy, only downside, you have to open each world to be transmitted once in MCPE.

You open MCPE, set the settings / profile / file location to 'application'.

Quit and restart MCPE properly.

Now you only see the worlds that are stored in the root / application folder, so you would only be accessible via root. Open world to transfer.

While you are in the world, change to Settings / Profile and the location to External again. Back once and save & exit. Feddich. This will save a copy of the world in games / com.mojang / minecraftWorlds, ie 'external'.

Open Next World, Pause, Save & Exit. Etc.

When done, leave MCPE and start again. Since Extern was selected at startup, you now only see the external worlds, which are now also found in games / com.mojang / minecraftWorlds.

The worlds in the root / application are retained and can be reused and deleted again after reverting to 'application' after an MCPE reboot.

Hope to have helped.

It does not seem to be that easy. There are probably problems with the resource packages used. Also, you may have to change from survival to creative before. Pay attention after saving to Extern on the file size, should remain similar size… I'm working on it

I found an awkward workaround that worked for me on Android: Check current storage location setting is set to "Application" (under Settings -> General -> Profile). If not, then change it and restart Minecraft. Set File Storage Location to "External" Come out of Settings and go to Play You should still be able to see all your worlds in Application storage Pick a world, click the Edit icon, scroll to the bottom and click "Copy World" You'll get an error message saying that the copy failed. This is NOT true, what has happened is that your world has been copied to External storage, but Minecraft is still showing worlds from Application storage. Repeat for all the worlds you want to copy. Exit Minecraft and restart Click Play and you're now looking at all your worlds in External storage! It worked for me, but YMMV and I'm no expert. Good luck everyone.
