I'm looking for mods for a survival server of mine and a few friends. The following criteria should be met:
There should be a decent amount of new items and blocks and items that also create a decent grind but the game should still be (very important) balanced. So no sword that simply destroys everything or bosses who attack you randomly and destroy entire structures.
Then we're interested in mods that simplify the automation process of items, i.e. Auto farms, and expand the possibilities.
Nice and realistic world generating would also be cool.
The grind should also be really longer.
I would be happy to receive your suggestions. (Individual mods can't necessarily be mod packs).
Mekanism (plus generators), applied energystics 2, industrial craft 2, big or extreme reactors, chisels
These are so core mods that come to mind that I haven't played in ages, just know that there are those for 1.7.8
So the automatic mod would be Create which is cool… When generating terrain would be https://www.curseforge.com/...erraforged
Yes I haven't played in ages either but now everyone is in the mood again
Have a few more from my old modpacks: pseuchodely craft, inventory tweaks, bioms o plenty, simply jetpacks, not enough items, galacticraft (I think 2) computer craft, draconic evolution. These are sometimes very complicated and grind annoying mods e.g. Galacticraft sometimes takes forever to farm (in my experience) and draconic evolution is also extremely complicated, but after an extremely long grind also bring the tools that can be described as "OP". If you need help with the mods you are welcome to write
If it should be gabalanced avaritia 😉. Bosses etc. Are the ice and fire mod, and the twilight forest mod cool. Destroy etc. Can be configured. Ideally with openmodular turrets. Then the kites fall from the sky like clay pigeons. Best grind mod i would say galacticraft (only with galaxy space addon). Because the moon is just epic, like the other planets there. Aether is also a great mod, good for pvp at least and nice dungeons.
Create looks very cool, there are also in 1.12.2
