Minecraft crossplay, can I play a singleplayer world with friends on ps4 (I pc)?

I'm a passionate pc player and my friends now had the idea of minecraft

To buy on the ps4, we got the idea that it could play a single player world together with crossplay.

The question is it possible when I play on PC with my colleagues to play a single player world without opening a server?

This is possible with the windows 10 edition, but not with the java edition.

Until last year you could get a free windows 10 key if you have the java edition. Now you would have to buy that extra.
