MInecraft guy stops running?

My guy in minecraft just stops running.

He just stops. I can only move to the left, right or back, to continue walking I have to press the W key again.

Should be due to the keyboard, but take a look at the Minecraft settings and see if anything looks unusual.

If not keep in mind that the keyboard can be old / very cheap and you might have to buy a new one.

Update or reopen Minecraft, or certain clients can also help.
