Whenever I want to play Sims 4 with my Mac Book air 2020, it gets really hot and relatively loud, I really like Sims. So I wonder if it would hurt my Mac if I did it. Would play and if so which eGPU should I get so that I can easily play Sims 4 or Minecraft? Because I know 0.
For the money of an external GPU you can buy a real notebook where the games run smoothly.
A Windows 350 euro notebook with Ryzen CPU is enough.
Since SIMS 4 runs with all mods and CCs creamy on it (thanks to VEGA graphics).
Bringing ne E Gpu for such games would be really stupid. Say the exact technical data of your MacBook Air. But these games should run on every laptop of the past few years
Known at Apple that things get hot like a pizza tray. On the other hand, you should be careful. I don't know if Apple fixed that, but if the thing gets permanent and hot multiple times, the solder joints will come loose. In 2011-2012 it was common… I don't know about the new ones.
