Your real problem is that your recording account should not automatically switch to the escape screen. You solve the problem like this:
Open your .minecraft folder (by typing% appdata% in the bottom left corner)
Open the options.txt file (easy with editor)
Change
pauseOnLostFocus: true
to
pauseOnLostFocus: false
Finished. Now your other account no longer automatically goes to the escape screen and you can record with it.
