Minecraft Java and Windows 10 Edition?

I just got Minecraft Windows 10 Edition

The problem: they all have the Java Edition. And I don't see one paying just under 30 euro for it. Is there any way where both editions can play zsm?

If you bought the java edition last year, you get the windows 10 edition for free. A key is then ready on the mojang website. So your friends can ask if they want to download the windows 10 edition.
