I was in the mood for a little Minecraft ^^ but since I only have the game on my mobile phone, I wanted to get it for my PC, the question I asked myself… Where? And which version would be best? Sites like Mmoga or Instant Gaming would be nice, but I think I'm too blind, they have the net. Would be grateful for all answers.
I would rather recommend the JAVA edition. First, because you can install mods there for FREE, and because I think it's much more realistic. Or the cooldown time of the weapons. In addition, the servers there are very slow and if you want to play with friends I would rather recommend Java.
Java: Original Minecraft, possibility of numerous free mods and thousands of servers (only playable with other PC players)
Bedrock: Slightly different version of Minecraft, mods hardly available or only in an in-house shop where everything is overpriced. But playable between all consoles and smartphones (+ Win10).
Servers are also available here, but not in the form of Java Minecraft.
You just buy this on minecraft.net. You don't buy games or anything at MMOGA or Instant Gaming.
Which version do you need to know. Java is just the original and has many functions that you don't have in Bedrock. Personally, I don't get along a bit with Bedrock. If you are used to Bedrock, of course, it can make sense to buy it. At Bedrock you have RTX. This is not yet possible with Java. But most of them play Java.
Bedrock feels like a completely different world. Different mechanics, different servers, different tutorials, and so on.
I would recommend Minecraft java to your heart (if you can do without RTX), because I think there's a wide range of servers there, among other things. Plus, changing versions is really easy. (in bedrock you would have to download some extra stuff first, but in Java you can simply select it when you start it…). You can also add a lot of mods to java.
you can only buy minecraft from the official minecraft.net site. You can buy Bedrock (win 10 edition) in the Windows store.
I have both versions on the PC, and in direct comparison I find the JAVA version worlds better. But only you can decide.
I would definitely recommend the Java Edition. It offers a lot more, there are many more servers, and it has more options. Before Java I downloaded Bedrock myself and I really regretted it. And the best thing to do is to buy Java on the official Minecraft site. It is 100% safe there.
I hope I could help
Best regards.
PS: I myself know that you don't want to spend 30 euro on a game, but it's definitely worth it.
What is possible with java, however, are shaders. All you need is optifine
Yes that's true. I didn't think of that at all. That goes without saying for me, but it's clear that shaders, texture packs, sound packs and also mods are practically impossible or extremely limited in Bedrock
True #TeamJava xD
