I'm just wondering if the version of the Minecraft Windows edition regularly offered in the Microsoft Store also supports Java?
No. This works without Java - and thus all classical mods for the Java version are also eliminated
Thanks, I'm looking for alternatives 👍
No, the Bedrock edition (which includes Windows 10) is largely based on the C ++ programming language, while the Java edition - as the name implies - was programmed with Java.
When it comes to server software, they are available in many languages, including Java for Bedrock and C ++ for the Java edition. Overall, the two versions are not compatible with each other. Theoretically, it would also be possible to program the Bedrock edition in Java, but I'm not aware of such a project.
