I have recently noticed that my graphics card (GTX 1660 Super XS OC) is always at 100% load even though I only use YouTube. It can't be due to the drivers because I have installed the most recent ones.
I've also had a problem with playing GTA5 lately as it keeps crashing. So far I have always been able to play on the highest settings without any problems. And anyway, I have 100% GPU utilization almost every game, which was actually never the case with Minecraft, for example.
I'm also pretty sure that the built-in Ryzen 5 2600X won't create a bottleneck. Is everything ok with my hardware or could this indicate a defect in some part
Please check the task manager to see which program the GPU is using.
Yes, I've done that several times, but as soon as I opened the task manager, the GPU load sank back to a normal level.
How do you see the GPU utilization then?
Well, I start the task manager, go to the "Performance" tab and then to GPU. Then I always see 100% utilization in the displayed diagrams.
Then do in the task manager that it sorts according to load and let it run on the 2nd screen or at the bottom in the corner so you can look directly.
Have now looked a bit at what that could be and now it is no longer.
I just notice that the total utilization is not that high, but the VRAM. Somehow 5GB of 6GB are always used. What could I do about it?
