Which editing program for minecraft trailer?

Hi! I want to make a trailer for an imagined minecraft project and wanted to ask which editing program (free!) Is well suited for it. It should contain sparks from fire and possibly ice / snow flakes. It would also be nice if it had a green screen with a chroma key, etc.
